Electronic Hook Switches (EHS) communicate electronically with your phone giving your wireless headset answer/end and ring alerts remotely. The use of an EHS cable eliminates the need for an HL10 handset lifter.

Savi 700 Series: W710, W720, W730, W730, W740, W745 and all -M variants
Savi 8200 Series: W8210, W8220 and all -M variants

Compatible with the following phones:

Grandstream GXP 2124, 2200, 2130, 2130v2, 2140, 21604 & GXV 3240, 3275 and NEC DT820

Programming Grandstream Phones For Headsets:

On occasion, you will need to program your phone in order to answer/hangup remotely with the APD-80. If you have audio but no call control, the following is needed:

  1. Go to the Grandsteam network setting site by typing the phone’s IP address.
  2. In settings -> preferences -> audio control and selecting “Plantronics EHS Headset” as opposed to the default “normal”.
  3. Rebooted the phone.
